Bihar-born Raghvendra Kumar, 32, a law graduate from Greater Noida’s Lloyd
Law College, has earned this sobriquet in Bihar and other states, including Delhi.

This is what Raghvendra Kumar, a native of Kaimur, Bihar also learned
in 2014, when his friend, KK Thakur, an engineering student, died in a two-wheeler
accident in Delhi. "I was a law student and my friend was studying engineering and
we were roommates. In March 2014, he met with a road accident. He only had a head
injury, and nowhere else. He was admitted in hospital for 8-9 days and the family
spent around Rs 18 lakhs, but we could save his life. he was the only child of his
parents," Kumar told

Our Mission
Raghvendra Kumar, also known as Delhi's Helmetman, is dedicated to
promoting road safety awareness and advocating for responsible behavior among
two-wheeler riders. Fueled by a deeply personal experience of losing a dear
friend in a tragic accident, Kumar's mission is to prevent similar incidents and
spare families the anguish of losing their loved ones due to preventable
accidents. He aims to achieve this by emphasizing the importance of wearing
helmets and adhering to traffic rules, thereby contributing to a safer
environment for all road users.
Our Vision
Raghvendra Kumar envisions a future where every two-wheeler rider
understands the critical role helmets play in safeguarding lives. He strives for
a society where wearing a helmet is not just a legal obligation but a conscious
choice made by every individual. Kumar's vision extends to comprehensive road
safety education, where people are not only aware of the rules but also actively
engage in responsible behavior, ensuring the roads are secure for everyone.

to 12th class to come through this cycle. They all
started wearing helmets.
